Filed under: Gift Ideas, organize, self help, Valentine's Day, educational — admin @ 2:12 pm

How can your hubby and you have a romantic evening at home this Valentine’s Day with a messy bedroom? Take his breath away with a neat bedroom. Nothing makes my husband say “WOW” more than a clean room (this is because it doesn’t get straightened up too often). If you can’t get motivated to clear away all of the junk, let Janet Hall get you to get your rear in gear! Janet is hosting the “De-Clutter Your Bedroom to Make Room for Love” teleseminar on Feb. 2nd (Fri.) 7 - 9 PM (est). Janet will be discussing her Bedroom organizing TIPS and TRICKS that will help you to get a grip on the clutter!

My Favorite Valentine’s Day Song

Every year, when I start to see Valentine’s Day stuff, I get a song in my head. It is one of my favorite songs on one of my favorite CDs, from one of my favorite singers. The song is Valentine by John Waite (yes, this is the guy who sang “Missing You”). I have loved this song for many years ( I got the CD around 8 years ago). My husband and I went to see him around a year ago. It was my second time. He was doing an accoustic show and we were sitting in the front row. He asked if there was anything we wanted to hear ( the audience) and I yelled out “Valentine”. He gladly sang it to us! He is one of the best and underrated singer/songwriters. I have listed to his music since I was a young teen ( or was it ‘tween?). That was MANY years ago!

This is one of his best albums. I have the CD somewhere, but most of the time, I just find it on Rhapsody ( where I have Access to one of the biggest music libraries on the net) and listen to it there. I highly recommend this album. It is an all time favorite of mine!

The Perfect Candle Scent for Valentine’s Day, or Any Day!

I love candles. I think a lot of women do. The thing with candles that we love is the wonderful scents that you can choose from. Popular scents nowadays are baked good smells. You know what I mean, cookies, cakes, pies. Fruit scents, such as melon, strawberry, and lemon are also well liked. Now, don’t get me wrong, I like those scents at times, but I tend to like more earthy scents. Maybe it is the traces of testosterone in me.

I had never tried Mia Bella’s Soy Candles before. I have seen them around but just never got around to trying one out. Heidi Phillips, who is a candle distributor for Scent-Sations, Inc., got me to try the Tuscany Nights hand poured candle. When I opened up the jar the first scent I noticed was a cedar scent. It isn’t overwhelming, but light. It has a masculine and scentual feel to it. I definately recommend this scent if you are looking for a candle to burn for Valentine’s Day or anytime you want a little romantic feel in your home. I think that your man will find this more pleasing than the freshed baked goods scents. Guys will love this fragrance, and you get the warm and cuddly feeling that you enjoy with candleight.
Although I tried just one candle so far, there are nearly 100 scents to choose from! Heidi can hook you up wth some great candles scents for any mood you are in. When you visit her website, you can see all of the wonderfully please scents that you can choose from. The Mia Bella candles are made of soy and natural ingredients. They are practically soot free. The scent seems to last longer than with candles that I usually pickup at the discount stores, probably since the fragrance is blended throughout the whole Mia Bella candle. The cost of these are a little higher than in a discount store, but then they do have a more intense, longer lasting fragrance.
I will definately be trying some of the other Mia Bella scents ~ probably the Sandalwood, Sage & Lavender or the Patchouli Spice!

Get your awesomely scented candles today from Heidi Phillips @ ShopGourmetCandles.com.
